Milk & me + Silly us + Gentlemanly + TV

Sorry I've neglected this but work has been keeping me busy. :/

Anyways a gift from my dear friend Grache (real name Grace, but with a silly accent, it's pronounced Gra-che!) and her bf Joni: my Moo Mixer.

What is a Moo mixer you say?

Picture this, you are thirsty, you prepped yourself a glass of milk, hmmm this needs chocolate, you stir in a couple of tablespoons of Milo (chocolate flavoured powder), you drink, yum, the TV distracts you, 5 mins pass, you look down to your glass, oh noes! the Milo is floating on the top, it hasn't dissolved, what am I to do? Get up from my comfortable position and use a spoon to stir my drink again? But that means double the dishwashing!.....
.
.
.
......I will have none of that, for my drink is in a Moo mixer. One push of the button and it mixes my flavoured drink to maintain chocolate consistency. Pogi is happy and lounges away.

My Moo mixer hard at work, at work. XD

People at work love it! But at the same time think I'm silly (in a good way) for reaching a new level of laziness.

Also, the looks on my work colleague's faces when I walk in a meeting, hanging on to this in my hand = Priceless. :)

Suddenly the calcium level in my body has increased. :p

Silliness = <>

What do you get when you have 4 friends at a bookstore (Borders) with nothing to do but wait for a movie session (Greater Union)? You have poo heads posing with books. :)

Waiting for friends (Elgin and Thao) to watch Rocky Balboa last week, we had time, we saw books, we pretended to read, we conquered books. ^_^

Joni and I reading important literature (his title: Tantric Orgasm Women, me: The Passionate Shopper)

Silly us fake-reading books.

Grache holding a book with her name on it. :) Becos she wrote it, YEAH RIGHT!!

Luckily we left that place, before we get kicked out for loitering. [-_-]

Mr Suave?

Neanderthals, take this test, to see if you fit "the profile".

My (honest) result......

Your Social Rank is...

True Gentleman. Congratulations.
From terrific taste to immaculate manners, you have the refinement worthy of a man of substance. And hence you know enough not to brag about this.

Never fear, Pogi is here. >_<>

Food

Last week before we watched Rocky Balboa, we hurried and took refuge at Max Brenners. Choctastic did you say? Yes, yes indeed. :)

I wasn't hankering for some chocolate, even though it was from Max Brenners, I just had a chocolate and peanut shake that tasted like liquid Reeses Pieces.

We all wet our pants, twice! And then a third time when we had fondue.

And the aftermath..........

TV (Spoilers)

24: OMG OMG OMG, did 'they' kill the U.S. President? Even though he ain't no David Palmer, he is still a Palmer!! And Charles Logan, ggggrrrrrr, what's his part in this? Even though it was so trippy that he was brought into the storyline. This week's ep, just WOW.

The O.C.: It's over. :( Last week's ep was the finale. The ending....was good, subtle, not over the top, not hyped up, it was just enough. The Cohen's moved to Berkeley, Summer and Seth get married, happily ever after.....*weep*...time to watch season one again with evil Oliver. :) mwhahahahaa

Family Guy: Stewie got a tan. Mutha f*rking hilarious ep.

Heroes: Holy crap, shit hit the fan!! This ep kept me on the edge of my seat, Peter Petrelli is maniac now, and we learn more about the "company". I wept when Mr Bennett said goodbye to Claire. :*(

Japanese Surgery!!

Continuing from last week's shocker topic, here is Mari Yaguchi, from ordinary Japanese girl, to hit Jpop singer, and superstar on popular show Morning Musume.

Believe that!?

Conversation later that night....

Grache: if i had surgery id change my....
Me: ovaries?
Grache: no!
Me: aawwwww :(

I want.......XD

First and foremost, I can't get over this suit. It just looks so perfect and well suited (slap me for the pun) to my physique and my style.

I WANT IT....

But unfortunately, I can't, for the item is located in Japan, although I can purchase it online, I'm very fussy about the fit, it must be perfect. I'm very afraid of choosing the wrong size, or worst-case scenario, the fit is just not right.

Just look at it, the slim style which results in a snug fit, the jacket length is also shorter, and the lapel is slimmer which results in a more compact look. It still appears to be elegant, but strikingly fashionable at the same time, and best to be coupled with a narrow tie to add to the slim theme.

Plus it suits both my role at work (perfect for my meetings in the boardroom) and stylish enough for use at a drink lounge in the City after work. 2 uses in one day? Can anyone say perfikt? :)

C'mon seriously, you can totally see me wearing this.

Dang, I want it so bad. I need to fly to Japan now! I'm planning to go to Tokyo this year with bestie Grace and her bf Joni, but we'll see how we go between work and study.

I could also pray that work will finally open an office in Tokyo which has been in the works for quite some time, even before I started. Then I can go visit there. ^_^

Speaking of Japan, I was shopping the other day at Market City and some dude who works at one of the clothing stores said I look like a famous Japanese actor, then proceeded to ask if I was Japanese, only problem is, it didn't get me a discount on the stuff I bought.

Har har har. >_<

Accessories

Clothing brands come with their own odd accessories, and one that I've recently come across is well known Japanese label BAPE (A Bathing Ape).

Check out this BAPE inspired toilet paper.....

I can see Pharrell bringing this along at a Hollywood party showcasing it.

Food

I finally got around to tasting these chocolate biscuits. They are ridiculously delicious. Reminds me of the chocolates I ate from the Philippines or the U.S.

The chocolate is different, much better than the ones we have here. I think the chocolate here has preservatives or something? :/

But I always enjoyed imported chocolates more than the local variety.

Definitely add them to your chocolate list, McVitie's Penguins, from Sugarfix at Sydney Central Plaza, or from an Irish grocery store in Bondi.

Mood: sick (fever) and in pain (retarded knee).
Song of the moment: Razor Light - Dior Homme

A collection of Dior Homme songs, that were used at their fashion shows can be downloaded here. Enjoy!

Asia + B'days + I.T. + GPS + bad haircut = Zombie Pogi

I miss Australia already, as I type away on a lonely desk at our Singapore office. I'm here alone, besides my work colleagues, for 3 days on business. How boring. There is absolutely no tourism spots that interest me (Merlion's and that island here is weird), but luckily there is shopping.

I'm staying at the Conrad but working across the road at Suntec tower 2. Our office here rox! It is in the same building as the shopping!! How kewl is that?

After I finish what I do here, I'm off for a short holiday in the Philippines. I'll be spending Xmas with family friends there (rich byatches!) and then NYE on a plane home. :/ I don't get back to Sydney till early morning on New Years day. Oh woe is me. >_<
Birthdays.

I love it whenever it is NOT my b'day. Why? I don't know. I just prefer celebrating someone else's other than my own. Extrovert? BS! XD

Anyways, concerning last weekend. Whoa! Like, sooooo many people had their b'day's on Saturday. I was able to make it to 3 of them though, so alls not lost.

A big happy bertday (<- my name! well sorta, bert!) to my buddies
Neil/Hect0r, Anna and Louisa. Sorry I couldn't stay longer but I was flying out the next day. I'll make sure to get wasted with you when I get back. ;)

And to the others, sorry for missing out but I'll make it to yours next time, Happy B'day neways!

My
cake gift to you:

Ube cake with macapuno!!!!

I work in I.T., it, like other industries is stressful, but it all comes in short bursts. Since I work for an American company, we work in the form of "quarters", so every quarter-end the office vibe is "
everyone is on edge-hectic-let's get sales-no sleeping".

At the
ITSMF (I.T. service management forum) convention last August, we were treated to lunches, dinners, free gear and free booze. Now that night I took advantage of the fun casino night and free bar tab. I wasn't quite like this poor dude but he pretty much sums up the I.T. crash back in the 90s or how frustrating I.T. can be:

Wasted!!! HAr har har

GPS (Global Positioning System) is a neat toy, and when combined with software, you get, wham bam! car navigation!

Now I've been using
Destinator for about 3-4 years. It's fine, but it has its pros and cons. I've moved on to Tomtom. And golly it is the most sexiest car nav software to date! I currently have James Bond as my voice directions, Yoda was just too odd.

Everyone get a Tomtom! Destinator is poo. It is a breeze to setup and to use, total price would be maybe $500 for hardware costs (PocketPC PDA and Bluetooth GPS receiver). I was excited, like a small child with ice cream, that I drove around for an hr to
test it. XD I was so happy!

Below is a pic of chocolate ice cream, Mars bar cheesecake (<- sexay) and ricotta cheesecake I had with Bern a short while back. Wasn't it tasty? ^_* We gotta eat more cheesecake girl, once I quit being a grown up. HAr har har.

Yummers!

I had a hair cut as well on Saturday morning. I hate my stylist. She can now die. She butchered me, and now I look like everyone else out there with this hair cut. >_<
